A drunk text filter was a popular request.
A survey of 2,000 phone-owners discovered what the true ‘dream phone’ would feature.
Sought-after features included having a celebrity on speed dial and being able to charge wirelessly from anywhere.
People also wanted a drunk text filter as well as an uncrackable screen - these people obviously like a good oul night out!
More than a quarter want their phone to automatically go through their photos and delete duplicates.
While half of participants want a universal caller ID.
Another dream feature would be having a social media lock that kicks in after too much scrolling.
The research by Tesco Mobile found only 39% currently own their ‘dream’ phone.
The most common barriers to having the phone of dreams was money and being stuck in a contract.
It also found that two thirds of adults ‘couldn’t live’ without their mobile.
And people spend 55 minutes a week, on average, talking on their phone.
