Work is a part of most of our lives - it's what pays the bills.
While some people love their job, others tolerate it and plenty hate it, do we think there's such thing as the perfect job?
According to a recent survey, one third of people believe they're actually working their dream job.
Raja Workplace commissioned a survey to poll 2,000 UK workers to find out more about what makes a ‘dream job’.
It shows what employees value the most within a working environment.
So, what makes a dream job?
One of the most important things for people appears to be hours, pay and overall vibe.
Hours - people said a 21-30 hour working week was most ideal
Pay - people want a salary of £44,355 (€52286.11) per year
Holiday/days off - the optimum time off was 29 days annual holiday per year
Travel - People wanted a commute of between 16-20 minutes
And vibe - people said having a supportive boss was important to them.
When it comes to working environment, people valued a tidy office space (72%), including comfy chairs, clean desks, free tea/coffee and soft lighting.
Around half of people said having a blend of individual and teamwork was important to them.
What about that supportive boss - what qualities do they need?
People want their boss to be supportive, treat people equally, be knowledgeable, show interest and be a good role model.
As well as all that, people reckon work benefits go a LONG way.

- Health/dental insurance

- Chances to advance
- Training opportunities
