2am tonight we'll roll back the clocks.
Time for us to get brighter mornings but darker evenings.
Great if you're usually up early, but a bit dull for anyone in work till 5 or after - probably most of us right??
The good news is though that this change gives us an EXTRA hour in bed tomorrow.
Every year, the clocks go back an hour at 2am on the last Sunday of October.
It can be one people often forget, but lucky for us we have technology now that does the work for us.
On pretty much all phones, tablets, etc, the clocks should automatically update for you.
So it's just the watch, car and actual clocks you'll need to change.
But why is it done?
Even though the European Parliament voted in favour of removing daylight saving time permanently after spring 2021, we're still keeping with the tradition.
Well, scrapping the clock change was actually a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In fact, the vote had no legal effect, it's simply up to "the Member States’ court to find a common position in Council”, according to Independent.ie.
They also report that a poll by Amárach Research found two-thirds of Irish people wanted to get rid of seasonal time changes.
But the whole Brexit thing could be a bit of a mess if the UK were to keep the time change and the Republic were to scrap it.
82% of respondents were not in favour of having two different time zones in the Republic and Northern Ireland.
That'd be a bit mad right?
