The Consumers Association of Ireland says price discrepancies for tourism services could damage the sector.
It comes as research by Newstalk has found that hotels, car rentals and tours can have different prices when quoting from within Ireland, the UK or US.
One Dublin apartment is 476 euro more to book from the US than it is for an Irish customer, on a third-party site.
Chairperson of the Consumers Association of Ireland, Michael Kilcoyne, says it's not fair competition:
"The same accommodation is available at different prices depending on where you're coming from. That's wrong. That's not real competition as I would see it."
"I think that this should be looked at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission because it's going to effect the country, it's going to effect jobs in the country and it's going to fleece the ordinary resident in the country."
