This tradition could make you a very lazy person

The Chinese New Year starts today and millions of families around the world will welcome in the Year of the Rabbit.
It also marks the start of a new lunar year.
Dublin will be celebrating it with a programme of activities with several building in the Capital turning red and celebrations are also happening throughout the country.
But if you're exhausted after all of the celebrations - try to refrain from having a nap.
Because according to Chinese tradition, taking a nap on the first day of the new lunar year will make you a very lazy person for the rest of the year.
Napping isn’t the only activity you should avoid today if you want to have a fruitful year, according to Chinese tradition.
Ladbible report that you should avoid doing some household chores like sweeping and washing clothes - which is a great excuse if nothing else.
Sweeping or taking out rubbish is associated with sweeping wealth away, while dumping bags of waste symbolises getting rid of good luck or fortune from the house.
You'll have to wait until the fifth day of the lunar year to do your sweeping.
One unusual thing to avoid today is eating porridge - as it's considered poor people's food.
It's taboo for a person to brew herbal medicine or take medicine on the first day of the lunar year, otherwise you might get ill for the whole year.
