Fried chicken ranked Ireland's favourite street food

Ireland has spoken!

Fried Chicken is the country’s go-to street food according to HelloFresh’s recent survey.

This fried delight was closely followed by Cheeseburgers (34.91%) and Tacos (28.91%).

HelloFresh says the results reflect the vibrant street food scene that has exploded around the country in recent years.

but while we love street food and international cuisine, it hasn't actually translated into our kitchens.

In fact, the research uncovered that a massive 89% of Irish people want to incorporate more international dishes into their dinner time, but lack the culinary confidence.

Top reasons for avoiding more adventurous recipes are:

1. The perceived expense (45%)

2. Time constraints (40%)

3. Lack of familiarity with international recipes (37%)
