If the recent string of miserable weather has you dreaming of blue skies and sunny days, then this could be the job for you - and a friend/partner.
A company called Silver Swan Recruitment is looking for a couple to manage and live on a barge in France for the summer.
The barge is basically a sophisticated party boat, hosting events and dinner parties for ''elite'' guests.
The successful couple's duties would include navigating the boat through the French waterways, using knots and navigational equipment, and managing events and dinner parties for guests.
However don't despair if you don't have much nautical experience, as full training will be provided for all of the boat equipment - So you can still apply even if you aren't a grizzled sailor.
One partner will be the boat's deckhand, while the other will play the role of host or hostess for guests on the boat, according to the job listing.
The best part about the gig is that the couple will get to traverse the stunning French countryside while they work.
"One day they may be cruising up the River Seine with the Eiffel Tower as their backdrop, while another day may be spent gliding along the Nivernais Canal watching the rolling countryside go by," the job listing states.
Oh and while the majority of the summer will be spent entertaining guests, the couple can use the barge for their own mini vacations when it's not in service.
And if you still weren't convinced, the successful applicants will earn €1300 a piece each month the job lasts, and keep any tips they make while serving.
The listing does not detail any specific job requirements needed for the role aside from a willingness to learn, an approachable personality, and experience working together as a couple.
