Are you up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends? Got a personality that people online would love? But not sure how to become the next big star on social media.
Well, an Irish University is set to offer the country's first 'influencing' course.
South East Technological University in Carlow will facilitate the course, with applications opening in November.
The Bachelor of Arts in Content Creation and Social Media is due to begin next September.
Speaking to RTÉ, lecturer in media and communications Dr Eleanor O'Leary said the industry has double in value globally since 2019.
Dr O'Leary added, "It is kind of worth an estimate of between 14 and 16 billion worldwide and so it is an area that has specific set of skills."
"Lots of people end up working and collaborating with brands.
"They could be self-employed as an influencer, or they could go in with a company and organisation as a content creator."
The course will focus mostly on the business side of content creation and social media.
Along with this, you will learn more technical skills such as video editing, audio editing, podcasting, and writing.
Modules will also include, crisis management and the laws and practicalities around advertising products.
