Dublin named of the best cities for solo female travellers

Dublin has been named as one of the best cities in the world for solo female travellers.

Hamburg and Munich in Germany take the top spots, while Dublin places in number 5.

Fashion brand Kipling, ranked cities based on safety, public transport, and gender equality.

Talking about the Dublin, Kipling says:

"For an escape that guarantees a good time, there’s nowhere quite like the Republic of Ireland’s capital city and Ireland itself is ranked the tenth safest country in the world. This welcoming city is known for being the home to Guiness and literary greats, in addition to supporting a pub scene with live music galore."

Booking.com says women make up 84 per cent of solo travellers.
