Jamie-Lee O'Donnell appeared on the Late Late last night.

Ryan Tubridy is in hot water today after an awkward moment on the Late Late show last night.

Derry Girls actor Jamie-Lee O'Donnell was on the show talking about the third season of the comedy series.

The first episode of the final season aired this week.

However, more people are talking about Ryan Tubridy for his line of questioning rather than anything else.

During the interview, Ryan decides to ask Jamie, who plays Michelle on the show, what age she is.

And it's fair to say she is not best pleased.

Her first reaction is to joke back with a fake age, but then she goes on to call the TV presenter out for his "misogynistic" question.

The actor says that women face more "scrutiny" in their careers than men.

Adding that even if it's not intentional, asking about her age is misogynistic, because she reckons he wouldn't ask a man the same question.

Ryan attempts to defend his questioning, saying he would ask a male actor the same.

And then he says he was simply trying to "compliment" her on her acting ability - for playing a character younger than herself.

He eventually gives up on the question, saying he can "read a mood when I see it".
