There are calls for the return of the traditional workplace tea-break.

It's after new research found one third of workers don't know the names of their colleagues.

The study of 4,000 people by McVities found that those in the 18-24 year age group were less likely to know those who work in their office space.

The research also found 70% of staff take less than 15 minutes break each day, apart from lunch, with many too busy to take any time out at all.

Meanwhile 42% of workers said they were too busy to take any breaks breaks at all!

But nearly everyone (93%) who responded to the study believed breaks are important.
