This cottage is offering a free stay to people who have been dumped

All you need to do to win is share your tale of heartbreak.

If you've been incredibly unlucky in love your luck may just be about to turn.

Because a UK-based holiday home rental agency called Independent Cottages, is looking out for those who are experiencing a broken heart this holiday season.

They're giving away a three-night stay in one of their cottages for one dumpee this Christmas, based on the movie The Holiday.

And judging by the pictures it's almost guaranteed to make your ex green with envy.

The description on the company reads competition web page:

"It can’t be denied that a cosy cottage makes for the perfect festive setting, as you snuggle up by the fire and enjoy some mulled wine while gazing out at the beautiful winter countryside".

"That’s why, this Christmas, we are getting into the festive spirit and giving away an English cottage stay inspired by The Holiday to one lucky winner.

"And in keeping with The Holiday theme, this competition is only open to entries from people who have had their heart broken this year".

The winner will stay for three nights in Farthing Cottage in the Cotswolds, which will be decorated for the festive season.

According to its listing, Farthing Cottage “oozes traditional character with beams on the ceiling, an original Cotswolds stone floor, stone walls, and a fireplace housing a log burner which makes it perfect for a winter break”.

Upon arrival, “the friendly cottage owners will ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including chocolates and prosecco upon arrival to indulge in some ‘you time”.

The cottage does sleep two people but the prize is just for one singleton in need of some alone time and healing.

To win, all you need to do is share your story of heartbreak by December 2, so make it as tragic as possible!
