Dearest Bridgerton fans, rejoice.
The official trailer for the second season has finally dropped.
And if the trailer is anything to go by, this could be a even more explosive season.
Be warned, if you haven't watched the first season, spoilers lie ahead.
Lady Whistledown (voiced by Julie Andrews) opens the trailer telling us "Dearest reader. It has been said that competition is an opportunity for us to rise before our greatest challenges."
A challenge indeed, as the second season follows Anthony Bridgerton and his search for a wife.
Could it be found in newcomer Kate Sharma or her sister Edwina?
While we already know Rege-Jean Page has not returned for this season as the Duke of Hastings, Phoebe Dynevor has returned as Daphne Bridgerton. We get to see a glimpse of her adjusting to her new role as a mother, while we also see some old faces from Season 1 as well.
The Netflix blurb also notes that as well as the Featherington family welcoming a new heir to their estate, the season will also follow the woman behind Lady Whistledown-Penelope Featherington.
She's played by none other than our own Nicola Coughlan.
According to Netflix, Penelope will continue "to navigate the ton whilst keeping her deepest secret from the people closest to her."
Season 2 drops on the 25th of March.
