Some brides have been causing a stir with the latest fashion trend.

For a few, how you look on your wedding day is quite an important feature for their big day no matter how much effort and pain you've to go through.

But for others comfort is key, even on your wedding day.

It's becoming an increasingly popular trend that brides are opting to wear Crocs down the aisle.

Crocs first became popular in the early 2000s but disappeared from the fashion scene until now - and they're back with a bang!

Ladbible report many brides are showing their bejewelled foam clogs to social media.

One bride even posted a step by step tutorial on how to make your own - and it took this bride to be 10 hours to make them!

However, the video has divided many.

One person said, "Why would you do this?"

Another said, "I want wedding crocs for the school run."

A third person said, "At least they're in sports mode."

Megan Welch, General Manager Asia Pacific of Crocs, told Daily Mail that she believes the shoe has been revived as its a simple yet durable piece of footwear that allows for self-expression.

“I think [the popularity] is a combination of factors - one being our Classic Clog is the best canvas for self-expression,” Ms Welch said.
