Struggling to get into work mode on a Monday?

You may consider applying to one Australian company who offer 'Bare Minimum Mondays'.

The marketing firm is introducing the incentive to help employees get rid of the Sunday night fear.

The company says it's a way for staff to take the day at their own pace and treat themselves with 'space and kindness'.

Boss Caitlin Winter says it's been "one of the best decisions she's ever made" as a boss.

Thousands of workers 'swear by' the tactic as it's said to lower stress levels, reduce pressure, and improve overall mood.

What's involved in Bare Minimum Monday?

You can:

  • Work from home
  • Avoid meetings
  • Do your laundry
  • Go do a food shop
  • Walk your dogs
  • Drop and collect their children to/from school
@caitlinjwinter As soon as I read about the concept of #bareminimummondays I knew I wanted in. Sunday nights have always meant the Sunday Scaries for me, but introducing Bare Miminim Mondays for me and my team means I can go to bed not feeling that sense of dread. I can wake up a little later on a Monday morning, go to my gym class and then ease into my work week feeling refreshed and energised. Credit for this concept goes to the amazing @MJ ⚡️ ⚡️#marketingmanager #corporatelife #wfhlife #corporategirlies ♬ original sound - Caitlin Winter
