A climate protester who was banned from carrying eggs, after being accused of throwing them at Britain’s King Charles and his wife Camilla, is now allowed to carry them to go grocery shopping.

23-year-old, Patrick Thelwell, was arrested after eggs were thrown at the royal couple during an official visit to York on Wednesday.

The University of York student has been released on bail, and is banned from being within 500 metres of the King.

He was originally banned from carrying eggs in public, but police later altered the condition to allow him to buy eggs for his own consumption.
