Welcome news to isolating parents across Ireland!
Families all across Ireland are currently doing the right thing and isolating at home, to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
According to a survey commissioned by the Irish government, 52% of Irish adults are working from home and with kids on a hiatus from school. It's a commendable act, but being confined to a single place with your family for such a long period doesn't come without it's challenges - especially for parents of younger children.
Which is why a new initiative from NOW TV will come as very welcome news for isolating families.
Streaming service Now TV is offering a free 3 month "Kids Pass" for the rest of the month. The pass gives access to shows such as Pokémon, Paw Patrol, Gruffalo and Peppa Pig. It also includes a range of educational children's documentaries.
Just don’t forget to cancel if you don’t want to continue as the pass renews at €7 per month after 3 months.
To claim the free Pass, parents need to follow the steps below:
- Head to nowtv.com/ie/wfh.
- Click to redeem voucher (populates automatically).
- Continue to sign in or create an account.
Commenting on the giveaway, Michael Forry, Head of NOW TV Ireland, said: ''NOW TV really wants to help out all the parents who might be finding it difficult to balance work and home duties at the moment.
''With the hundreds of shows available to stream on the NOW TV Kids Pass we hope to make life a little easier over the next few weeks.''
Just another example of a business doing it's part to ease the burden on people during this testing time.
