Home Instead says the positions will come on stream across the country.
A service that provides care to elderly people in their homes is looking to hire 1,000 workers.
Home Instead says the jobs are located nationwide.

It is the second time in less than a year that the home care company has looked to take on new workers.
Chief Operating Officer, Shane Jennings, says there is a huge demand for the service:
"Demand in the growing population is what we're all experiencing. I think, on a personal level, we all have loved ones or neighbours in our community that we can see aging and that demand and that increase is happening.
"There's a real need within this sector to care for those individuals."
