Well it looks like Spring is on hold...
Two separate weather warnings for strong winds and heavy rain have been issued this morning.
A Status Yellow rainfall warning is in place for Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford with up to 50 mm expected.
Meanwhile a Nationwide Status Yellow wind warning in place from 9am, in place until this evening.
Met Eireann are predicting string gusts of up to 110km/h, and both warnings are in place until Tuesday morning.

In better news though, The Met is predicting milder temperatures of around 18C from Thursday onward.
And we've certainly earned it!
