Patrons at a London Pub were left stunned yesterday, when 'Fred' the incredibly realistic and freaky robot joined them for an after -work-drink.
Fred, the worlds first 'influencer robot,' completely shocked with his lifelike appearance, his ability to hold conversations and display human expression.
The chatty robot was keen to have a talk about his favourite TV show and his plans to eventually destroy the human race... mildly concerning.
Built by Now TV, Fred's purpose is to promote the second season of the hit show Westworld, a series based around an Artificial Intelligence revolution.
And it would appear the real-life AI revolution mightn't be too far away either... With experts predicting robots like Fred will be emotionally intelligent by 2028.
We wonder, will Fred become their leader? We best keep an eye on him.
