Now, new research proves just how much we love our furry friends. This Valentine's Day, more than half of Irish people will buy their pet a gift. 53% of us admitted we'd splash the cash on a present this February 14th.
The research by Petmania and published in the Irish Mirror found tops gifts included luxury grooming sessions like Paw-dicures, Candy Scented Cologne, Blueberry Facials and Pawsecco.
“Pets are an integral part of people’s lives and are shown just as much as care and love as their human counterparts" said Emily Miller of Petmania.
"Seasonal hallmark holidays are proving increasingly popular with pet parents who invest in their animals’ wellbeing.”
