It's been revealed that long-running competition Miss America will drop its swimsuit promotion from its National Television Broadcast.

Gretchen Carlson, the board of trustees chair for the Miss America Org, revealed that the long-running competition is dropping the swimsuit portion from its nationally televised broadcast. "We will no longer judge our candidates on their outward physical appearance," Carlson said on ABC's Good Morning America.
