Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But still, that does little to sooth the sting of being branded as the world's least attractive nationality.

Well says international dating website beautifulpeople.com.
According to data from the elite international dating site that only accepts 'good-looking' singletons - Just eight percent of Irish men who applied to land their profiles on the Los Angeles-based site were successful... The lowest percentage.
Last year, Irish men were ranked equal bottom at least, sharing the title with the U.K. and Poland. But this year... well it's outright ours!
Although we think that says more about the website though.
But there was some good news...
While we don't agree with the verdict for our lads, it's good news for the women of Ireland.
Who've climbed up the rankings to tie with France as the seventh-most attractive nationality on the planet, just behind the U.S. in the poll.
Obviously none of this REALLY matters! There's absolutely nothing official about this data... and ranking countries by their looks is ridiculous.
But still on behalf of Irish Men. Ouch.
