The days of creeping on Instagram are all but over
The content in people's WhatsApp groups may never be the same again... after Instagram revealed it's plans to expose those who screenshot other peoples Instagram stories.
According to TechCrunch, the new feature has begun it's A/B testing. And those chosen to be involved in the test will now get a notification if they attempt to screenshot a story - warning them that the next time they screenshot, their friend will be notified. Nightmare!

In a statement to TechCrunch, a spokesperson from Instagram said: "We are always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you."
So how can you tell if someone screenshots your story? Apparently you'll receive a notification with a little circle type thing. Which you can see in the tweet below:

Looks like the days of sharing a sneaky screen shot among your friends may be numbered!
However... according to some sources, if you pop your phone on airplane mode you may be able to safely screenshot without the other person knowing.
But you didn't hear that here.
