It took a staggering total of €3,800 to put a stop to the iRadio Thief.
Huge congratulations to Barry Clifford from Galway who has just become €1,000 richer after finding the iRaido Thief in Galway.
After a long two weeks of disruption on air, online and on iRadio.ie, as the iRadio Thief taunted iRadio visciously.
Although they managed to slither out of our grasp at the final hurdle, we can rest assured that we won't be hearing from the iRadio Thief.... for a while at least.
We haven't been promised eternal peace, as our lucky winners received this ominous letter from the iRadio Thief, when the €1,000 bounty was taken off his head in Galway.
"No more calls, no more clues... until next time"
"It's goodbye for now.... but this isn't over"
Fingers crossed they'll go away for a LONG time.
*Shudder*
Over the last two weeks, the iRadio Thief has been spotted in 30 locations across Ireland, and we've been tracking their movements constantly on iRadio.ie/theiradiothief.
The iRadio Peugeot iTeam have, like you, been following the clues too, and have therefore witnessed every backroad and byroad in our beautiful island over the last couple of weeks...
We would like to thank true heroes in this tale, An Pucán and 1520 in Galway, for their crucial help and thank YOU for finding the iRadio Thief!
It's back to normality for now.
