The National Weather Service has warned people in Chicago to avoid taking deep breaths and speaking. It's after a record-breaking cold spell in the area.
They've told people “to protect your lungs from severely cold air, avoid taking deep breaths; minimize talking.”

The polar vortex in the US has led to temperatures as low as -45°C in some states. Up to eight inches of snow and winds as fast as 64kmph are expected as parts of America face temperatures colder than Antarctica.
The Independent UK say officials are urging residents from northern states to stay inside. The deep freeze sets in across the county, bringing with it life-threatening conditions.
