The only major event dedicated to Generation Z in Ireland is back!
And it has some seriously big plans for 2017.
Zeminar ''A life changing day for Generation Z'' is set to thrill crowds at Dublin’s RDS once again, after it's hugely successful launch last year.
If you're unfamiliar with the concept, the aim of the event is to safeguard the development, mental and physical well-being of Generation Z, particularly in the 15-20 age brackets.
Over 15,000 people attended the event last year, and as you can see by the video below, it was great craic!
The founder of Zeminar is Damien Clarke, he spoke to iRadio about the feeling of excitement around this year’s event, ‘'We have so many great speakers lined up this year, covering a really broad range of topics, everything from mental health, to cyber bullying to getting active, the quality is going to be extraordinary,'' he said.
‘’There’s a huge Buzz around health and well being at the moment with a lot of corporate backing being thrown around, so it’s a really exciting time!''

The main stage - This is where you'll find some seriously motivational and inspirational speakers doing their thing. This year, Zeminar will play host to the likes of Blindboy, Doireann Garrihy, Credit Union Ambassadors the O’Donovan Brothers, Dr. Harry Barry, Anna Geary and many more!
CEO Boss it - This area will give you essential information on career choices, exam preparation and the potential opportunities that lay in wait for young people. The "A Day in the Life" series is particularly informative, with speakers from a variety of professions and trades sharing details on their typical day.
Club Corner - All about getting young people active and interested in new things. A host of national clubs will be on display showcasing their sport or hobby, there'll be heaps of cool things to check out and you may even discover a new passion!
Teachers Lounge - Well...this one is pretty self explanatory. If you're a Teacher heading to Zeminar, rejoice. You have your own place to get away, relax and chill out. Thank god.
Well Being Gym - This is a place where you can learn how to look after your mind, body and soul. There'll be heaps of potentially life changing information to sink your teeth into, so spend a bit of time at this one!
Activation zone - This is for the broadening of minds, what Zeminar is all about. Science and technology both really excite and capture the imagination, this awesome zone showcases the latest trends and developments in those areas, sounds pretty cool!
You, Youth Org United - This is like a recruitment zone for the many youth organisations in the Country, a great way for young people to get involved in their local communities. There'll be a huge range of organisations present, so you're sure to find one that's perfect for you!
So there are just seven-awesome things going down at Zeminar 2017, but that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what's going to transpire...it's going to be a very special weekend!
