It's been revealed why Prince William and Prince Harry were cut from Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The brothers made headlines when they visited the set of the film in April 2016 and shot a scene as stormtroopers.

But the cameo ended up on the cutting room floor because the princes were too tall. Yes, too tall!

A source told the Daily Mail: "Stormtroopers have to be exactly 5ft 11in. At the time we shot it I think the feeling was that the scene would make the final movie."

"Everyone feels bad that William and Harry lost out on their big moment. However, the scene just didn't work for the final cut so it was left out."

William is 6 foot 2 and Harry is 6 foot 1. Maybe they could feature in a movie about basketball players or male models or...eh bodyguards. What do you think?!
