Wayne Rooney's been charged with drink driving after he was stopped by police in the early hours of Friday morning.
The Everton footballer was behind the wheel of a VW Beetle when he was arrested near his home in Cheshire.
The car reportedly belongs to a 29 year old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle at the time.
Rooney was released on bail and is due to appear before court on September 18th.
The 31 year old's wife Coleen was abroad on holiday but is believed to have flown home.
The couple announced they're expecting their fourth child together two weeks ago.
If convicted, Rooney could be fined and banned from driving for at least a year.
He could also face disciplinary action from Everton.
