The holiday resort, located in Newcastle Wood near Ballymahon, is opening its doors in summer 2019.
Center Parcs has revealed its plans for a 'Subtropical Swimming Paradise', which they claim will be Ireland's largest water park.
The park, which will be heated year-round, includes rides, slides, Wild River Rapids, a wave pool, dedicated play areas for toddlers and young children, and a café and bar.
Center Parcs Ireland will cater for up to 2,500 guests in approximately 466 lodges and 30 apartments.
Access to the Subtropical Swimming Paradise is reportedly included in the price of family midweek and weekend breaks.
The resort is expected to provide 1,000 permanent jobs.
