The population of Galway was left wounded after a crushing defeat to Tipperary in the hurling semi final on Sunday.
Nonetheless, the county was still proud of its team who got this far.
Another cause of pride were the three Galway supporters, who were interviewed by RTÉ before the match.
The lads had some optimistic predictions for the game and made some bold claims about the Galway players, mainly that Daithi Burke had been "throwing heifers over gates" in preparation.
