THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN
Ireland is still waiting on its first Olympic medals but we were boosted yesterday when boxer Steven Donnelly reached the welterweight quarter-finals.
Rowers Claire Lamb and Sinead Lynch also gave us more hope, making it into today's Women’s Lightweight Double Sculls later today.
Meanwhile Cork's rowing duo Gary and Paul O'Donovan secured their place in today's men's lightweight sculls final, after finishing third in their race.
The brothers won the public's heart earlier in the week when they gave a very Cork interview to RTÉ News.
The Skibbereen lads didn't disappoint again, telling the broadcaster that "T'was great to beat the Brits as well".

We also got an insight into the boys' strategy, which basically involves "closing the eyes and pull like a dog."

Fair enough then! Best of luck to all our finalists.
