Irish Rail workers are set to strike for five days from next month in a row with management over pay.
There will be 24 hour stoppages on November 1st, 7th, 14th and 23rd as well as on December 8th.
Union members at Iarnrod Éireann say they will conduct reviews on an ongoing basis and may decide to escalate the action.
Tens of thousand of commuters will be disrupted as a result of the strikes.
