Do guys and girls eat Doritos' differently?
Apparently so!
That is According to Indra Nooyi, the CEO of PepsiCo, which owns Doritos.
Speaking on the podcast Freakonomics she described how men and women eat Doritos differently. Saying how young guys “lick their fingers with great glee, and when they reach the bottom of the bag they pour the little broken pieces into their mouth”
While “Women would love to do the same, but they don’t. They don’t like to crunch too loudly in public. And they don’t lick their fingers generously and they don’t like to pour the little broken pieces and the flavour into their mouth.”
The solution to this dilemma?
A 'For Women' 'low-crunch, full taste profile snack' with 'not so much flavour to stick on the fingers' Which can also fit in a purse.
You can't make this stuff up!
The reaction Nooyi’s comments hasn't been pretty though, here's a look:
women: give us equal pay, stop harassing us, stop literally threatening our lives
brands: how about quiet doritos for women?
women: no, that's--
brands: snacks you can fit into your purse!
women: what? no--
brands: a pen that's comfy for your lady hands!— Sammy Nickalls ?♀️ (@sammynickalls) February 5, 2018
Yes, it’s super shitty that we live in a society that socializes men and women to act differently and that giant companies then utilize and encourage that in their marketing schemes.

When I walk home late at night I make sure to hold some Doritos in between my fingers so that if a man threatens me, I can quickly pop some into my mouth and CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH- he then knows that I’m a bro and we high five, lick our fingers and bounce off into the night

Women: We’d like equal pay and equal rights.
Doritos: How about a chip that doesn’t crunch?

Doritos have had their say though....
We already have Doritos for women — they’re called Doritos, and they’re loved by millions.
