We're lucky if the train turns up at all!
In Japan, public transport is fast and punctual. Here, not so much - we're used to delays, cancellations and overcrowding.
That's why a recent incident is Japan has us so puzzled.
A train company in the country was so embarrassed about one of its services leaving early that it issued an apology.
However, the train only left 25 seconds early!
Sora News24 reports that West Japan Railways apologised to its customers for causing "great inconvenience" over the error in Shiga.
The mistake occurred on May 11th when the train left Notogawa Station at 7:11:35 rather than 7:12:00.
The company released a statement after it was reported that a number of customer had been left behind:
"The great inconvenience we placed upon our customers was truly inexcusable."
"We will be thoroughly evaluating our conduct and striving to keep such an incident from occurring again."
What?!
