Here's something you might not know - Netflix started out as a mail-order DVD service.
Yep. The streaming giant launched in 1998 as the world's first online DVD rental store, posting films to subscribers in red envelopes.
While you might think that side of its business died with the demise of the DVD, you'd be wrong.
Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s head of content, told Variety that 3 million people still order DVDs from the company, and they're delivered through their doors.
And it doesn't look like Netflix will close down its DVD shop anytime soon as it's making them serious cash.
It reportedly contributed almost $53 million to the company's profits during its most recent quarter.
You can't keep a good thing down!
