THIS MAN ADOPTS ‘OLD DOGS’ THAT OTHERS DO NOT WANT

Meet Steve Greig. Months after his own dog passed, he was still really upset. He missed his buddy. So he decided to head down to a local shelter in Denver, Colorado to 'adopt the “least adoptable” senior dog', as these are the ones too often overlooked by others looking to give dogs a home. Now, Steve shares his house with 10 dogs, and his instagram page has half-a-million followers.

According to BoredPanda: Each day Greig wakes up at 5.a.m in the morning to make breakfast for his big family. Most of the dogs have different diets. His schedule is filled with walks in the park, vet appointments…and lots of love and cuddles.

I had the dogs sit here for this picture but it's a pretty realistic view of what going up and down the stairs in this house can feel like. #stairTRIPS (dog sitting on a holiday weekend so there's an extra one or two in the mix). I don't have the right words to tell you the comfort I received from all the condolences for Ignatius. I believe I have read every comment. A lot of them made me cry and all of them gave me comfort. I understand those words were not only written for Ignatius but also for all of your pets that have gone before him or that are facing the same circumstances. The effort to reach out to (in most cases) someone you haven't met, shows true, genuine kindness. #missingignatius

I can't help but smile to myself when people innocently ask me why I'm not married. I should just show them this picture. (To be fair though this picture is slightly exaggerated. I'm dog sitting for a couple weeks and two of the dogs here arent actually mine). #cuz10dogsandapigwouldbecrazy
