A new survey has found Irish families spend a whopping six hours watching TV on Christmas Day.
According to research by Virgin Media, 12 per cent of people will spend even longer looking at the telly.
91 per cent of us will be tuning in to watch a Christmas classic over the festive season, while 78 per cent of us will watch between one and six movies over the holidays.
The survey found Home Alone is Ireland's favourite Christmas film followed by Miracle on 34th Street.
This is followed by The Santa Claus, Elf and Love Actually.
