"Santa loves everyone so now it's time for everyone to love each other."

With only five months until Christamas Day, 150 Santas from around the globe are meeting in Denmark to plan for the festive season.

At the 61st World Santa Claus Congress in Copenhagen, the Santas donned their red suits and beards despite the sweltering heat.

They've been raising a few eyebrows as they paraded through the streets playing Christmas songs, and took a boat to visit the Little Mermaid statue.

The three-day event will also see the Santas go head to head in the Santa Obstacle Course World Championships.

One of the delegates, Dave from the US, told Reuters:

"Santa's Christmas wish is for peace in the world. It is a very difficult time and Santa loves everyone, so now it's time for everyone to love each other."
