You could watch the eight Star Wars movies in a row on this!

Singapore Airlines has announced it's bringing back the world's longest commercial flight.

The non-stop flight from Singapore to Newark in New Jersey will take up to 18 hours and 45 minutes.

The airline last flew the route in 2013. It stopped as it had become uneconomical but it's now received a delivery of new long-range aircraft, so it's all systems go!

According to USA Today, the relaunched route "will cover a distance of approximately 9,000 nautical miles". That's almost 14,500 kilometres.

The service will resume in October, with tickets on sale today.

Currently, the world's longest flight is Qatar Airways' Doha to Auckland route, which takes around 17 hours and 40 minutes.
