A teenager was hospitalised on Friday after an incident while out walking with a group at Hares Gap in Northern Ireland.

Mourne Mountain resuce team responsed to a request for assistance and found the teenager on steep ground on Slieve Bearnagh.
The male youth was walking with a group in the vicinity of the Hares Gap when hit by a sheep jumping from an adjacent crag', the rescue team wrote on Facebook, 'the casualty was assessed and treated for a range of potential injuries including head, neck, back, abdominal and leg injuries. When packaged, the casualty was evacuated by stretcher to track access and a team vehicle.'
They added that they believe the sheep was uninjured in the incident and left the area unaided.
