A "curious" Chinese teenager has had to have surgery after he stuck a USB cable up 20cm up his urethra and it became knotted in his bladder.
The boy, who remains unnamed, was taken to a local hospital in the county of Linkou in China's north-eastern Heilongjiang province, where medics tried and failed to remove the cable with lubrication, leaving the boy in immense pain.
He was then transferred to Harbin Children's Hospital, where he was successfully operated on byDoctor Xu Liyan, and discharged last Tuesday - two weeks after his surgery.
It is believed the teen is doing well since the surgery.
Although he may never be able to look at a USB the same way again...
