Some good news for you on a Friday.
A Londis store at DCU had been selling chicken rolls for €4.50
This is BEFORE extra fillings, which could make the total cost around €5.50.
One student had enough.
A student named Callaghan Commons tweeted his plans to boycott the shop.
I’ve decided to boycott the Londis in DCU because their chicken fillet roles cost €5.50 and I won’t stand for it!

Another Tweeter called it "daylight robbery".
The shop responded quickly, saying they were going to review their prices.
Soon afterwards the Londis announced it had lowered the price of the roll to €3.75.
Big ups for @CalCommons for changing the lives of students who now have regular priced chicken fillet rolls! #ComeToCarlow
