Marvel Comics' real-life superhero passed away at the age of 95.
It's reported Stan Lee filmed his cameo for Avengers 4 before he died.
The co-founder of Marvel Comics has been appearing in Marvel-related movies for decades.
Stan, who died in hospital in Los Angeles on Monday, co-created iconic characters such as Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, the X-Men, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Fantastic Four.
However, his celebrated cameos haven't ended according to a statement made by 'Avengers: Infinity War' co-director Joe Russo.
Joe and his brother Anthony are co-directing the fourth untitled Avengers movie, which is due out in Irish cinemas in April 2019.
Speaking to the BBC in April, Joe revealed that Stan would film his cameos together:
"So, Stan, typically we try to get him out — he doesn’t love to fly — so we try to get him out for his cameos around the same time. So if we have other movies shooting on the same lot that we’re on, for instance Ant-Man 2 or Avengers 4, we group his cameos together and then move him from one set to the next and kind of get him through his cameos in one day."
Stan was a real-life superhero to comic book lovers everywhere and it's certain his spirit will live on through his legendary characters.
