A doctor recently discovered a small spider living in the ear canal of a 60-year-old man.
The discovery was made by a doctor after the man complained of an "insect in his head".
The pateient said the sound was like a beating drum.
What was actually happening was the spider was busy at work making itself a home.
Thankfully, the spider was removed after the doctor flushed it out with water and the unnamed patient suffered no permanent injury. Phew.
