You’ve probably heard of cat and dog cafes, where you can dine with cuddly balls of fluff, but now there’s a snake cafe!

For just 1,000 Japanese yen (around €7.50), you can hang out with reptiles in Tokyo Snake Central.

You'll be surrounded by 35 snakes, including a jungle carpet python, a corn snake, a ball python and a Brazil rainbow boa, while you have a coffee or grab a bit of grub.

Don’t worry though, they’re all non-venomous and in glass cases, but for an extra 4 quid, you can take them out and hold them.

Tokyo Snake Central also has a snake theme...obviously!

The owner of the cafe says he opened it because he wanted to allow people to see that snakes are fun and friendly, and not dangerous.
