There's no getting away from beards.
They made a comeback over a decade ago thanks to the hipster movement and they've been in fashion ever since. Now, the popular facial hair style is giving rise to a new dating trend called shaveducking.
The Metro reports shaveducking is the uneasy feeling which takes over when a person wonders if they're attracted to their partner or just his beard.
It can reportedly pop up at any stage in a relationship, when you've just started dating and realise you’re not attracted to their other facial features, or a few months in, when they go clean shaven and you're disgusted.
It's not too surprising. Several studies have found that beards enhance men’s attractiveness. Beards also obscure facial irregularities, like a weak chin and jaw.
It's obviously not advised to tell your partner they're ugly without a beard, that would be just plain rude, but if you do want him to avoid the razor, tell him you're more attracted to him with facial hair.
Is it wrong to only fancy someone because of their beard?!
