Amid the manic highs and lows of Leaving Cert results, you always hear a few horror stories...but these students surely take the cake.
It's been revealed by the State Examinations Commission (SEC) that a total of 38-Leaving Cert Students have had their exam results withheld permanently, due to suspicions of cheating and dishonesty.
A spokesperson of the SEC revealed to the Irish Times that while cheating methods were advancing with technology such as smartphones, more traditional methods such as hiding notes and attempted copying are still in use.
Well...if you're willing to commit the crime, you're going to have to serve the time!
