The mathematician has suggested a new glass for the black stuff.
Why does ordering a pint of Guinness take so long?
Well, the stout needs to settle but it turns out that the specially-designed Guinness glass is delaying things.
William Lee, a professor of Industrial Mathematics at the University of Huddersfield, has discovered that the pint glass causes the nitrogen bubbles to sink instead of rise - increasing the wait time.
Professor Lee even conducted a study on this, believe it or not, and he believes a giant martini glass would work better.
Yep, a martini glass! Madness.
