Saoirse Ronan's revealed her mam had an embarrassing run-in with George Clooney the first time she attended the Oscars.
The actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel to chat about the upcoming Academy Awards.
Speaking about being nominated for an Oscar 10 years ago, Saoirse admitted that she could only remember one thing about that night and that was George Clooney standing on her mam's dress.
The 23 year old says it was her mother's first time on the red carpet and she was wearing a dress with a long train.
She claims George Clooney stood on it without realising and wouldn't get off, despite her mam repeatedly tapping him on the shoulder and saying “Excuse me”.
Eventually, he walked off and Saoirse’s mam ran over to say, “You’ll never believe what George Clooney just did to me!”
